Beware of product review websites When a review really is not a review.....
I do not know about you, but I always read the reviews on websites about products and this helps me make my decision to buy or not to buy.
Recently I became aware of companies that pay people to post positive comments on forums and review websites.
Now I find the item I want to buy on eBay, look for the same item that has been sold and I contact a few of the buyers for feedback. An example was for a USB TV tuner. Majority of people who replied had no success to get it to work. Now that is totally unbiased feedback!
Another problem I have seen are eBooks. Again I read someone wanting an eBook book written about fake weight loss benefits of drinking juice from a rare fruit.
Any finally, I read many times for 'sell my items on eBay' - no products, all listings are fake. You would be surprised by how many people apply to do this!
So as we are buying online, always be skeptical when reading reviews, do your research and ALWAYS read the negative feedback - it is amazing how many buyers do not do this! ::BACK TO MARKETING ADVICE:: |
